Hey everyone! My name is Dahlia Cohn, and I am this year’s blog director for UF’s Advertising Society. In honor of the first post of Fall 2021 semester, I am going to tell you a little bit about myself. I am currently a senior majoring in Marketing with a minor in Mass Communication. Do I know what I want to do after I graduate? Definitely not. Am I still trying to figure It out? Yes, absolutely. I am originally from Weston, FL. I have two sisters, one older and one younger. Yes, I know the struggles of being a middle child. I love traveling and have had the privilege of traveling to many different places around the world. On the side, I love going to the gym and hanging out with friends (basic I know). I have always had a passion for writing. Whether it was writing an essay, a short story, or a poem, I enjoy every second of it. A fun fact about me, which I cannot believe that I am sharing on the internet, is that I live on a farm. We have pigs, cows, horses, sheep etc. They are my parents’ pride and joy.
I am so excited to be writing the blog this year and have a lot of exciting posts coming I am looking forward to sharing it with all of you! This year this blog will cover so many different topics. As a senior, I know first-hand the struggles of college. The blog will give advice such as easy meals to make living alone for the first time, resume tips, best study spots on campus, college self-care tips, and more! We’d also never forget about the holidays. We have the best Halloween caption inspiration, some good dining advice for Thanksgiving, and of course the ultimate Christmas movie marathon list. We’ll all be taking this journey and we’ll have some laughs, stories, and things to learn together. Until next time!
