This past Wednesday, December, 5 Ad Society had an Ugly Sweater Party. It was held at our amazing Ad Serve director Sarah Jeter’s apartment and organized by our incredible event planning directors Emily Lehman and Alex McKenzie. Here’s a recap of how Ad Society closed off this Fall semester!
The night started off with a Directors Seceret Santa. The directors got into a circle around the table of presents and each took turns handing out gifts to one another. Once everyone had a gift in their hand, we went around the circle having each person open theirs. It was exciting to see what each person recieved and how well we all knew each other. The room lit up with smiles as we all unwrapped our presents.
Once all the gifts were opened, the festivities began. Our incredible event directors catered the party with the best kind of guilty pleasures: chicken nuggets, pizza rolls, and mozzerella sticks. Along with that were chips, cookies, and a cheese platter.
Everyone was dressed in their own festive way, some even modeled unique vintage sweaters. It was fun waiting to see what everyone was going to fashion up for the party.
This party was an exciting way to close off the year. Ad Society had a successful semester welcoming a number of new memebers, bringing in phenomanel speakers, and organizing excellent trips. We hope everyone has a relaxing holiday break and we can’t wait to see you back for another adtastic semester!
